Blake Shelton, a coach on The Voice, will leave the programme after Season 23.

On Tuesday, the 46-year-old artist and media figure announced his departure from the NBC reality singing competition series on Instagram.

After much deliberation, Shelton wrote, "I've decided that it's time for me to leave The Voice after the upcoming season."
